Assistants will be mentored by the Senior Assistant and will report to the Golf Course Superintendent. The right candidate will be exposed to all facets of golf course maintenance and gain some experience with staff leadership as well. A successful hire will be one who adds to a positive and fun working environment with the emphasis on preparing that candidate to become a Golf Course Superintendent in the future.

Are YOU qualified? Applicants should:

  • Possess a certificate or 2-4 year turf or related Degree
  • Have the ability to obtain a Connecticut Supervisory Pesticide Applicator License
  • Be committed to continuing education and professional advancement
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of golf course experience  

Rolling Hills Country Club is a private country club located in Wilton, Connecticut. The Par 71, 6800 yard golf course was originally designed by Alfred Tull and built in the early 1960’s. Rolling Hills has been following a Master plan developed by Tripp Davis and Associates and completed the bunker portion of the plan in 2019. Rolling Hills is currently working with Golf Water to develop plans to replace the Toro irrigation system that was installed in 1999. The pump station will be replaced in 2022. Rolling Hills also boasts a short game practice area, driving range, indoor teaching facility, fitness center, pool facility and racquets facility consisting of 7 har-tru tennis courts and three (soon to be four) paddle courts in addition to the golf course.

Transitional housing will be available until March 1st 2022 Salary 65,000 – DOE.
