Position / Title: 1st Assistant Superintendent
Facility Description: Busy family owned and operated Cornish designed 18-hole public course located in Cranston,RI with full driving range with grass practice tee, clubhouse and banquet facility. Course features large undulating greens, large tee areas and wide fairways. Course recently underwent an extensive irrigation upgrade project including a new pump house.
Experience Desired: Adequate experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance or experience as an assistant superintendent would be a bonus. Looking for the right person to transition into the Superintendent role in the Spring of 2024.

Special Skills: Seeking hard-working hands-on assistant superintendent who is passionate about the industry and enjoys being involved in a variety of renovation and improvement projects to join our team who can take turf conditions at Cranston Country Club to the next level and grow with our company. Applicant must have strong leadership and communication skills. Applicant must have or have the ability to obtain a RI pesticide license.
Compensation / Benefits: $55,000 - $65,000, paid health insurance, dental and association dues.
Education Level Required: Turf degree or certificate or adequate field experience.
