URI Farms Open House:
As RI's land grant institution, URI has three farms that serve as field laboratories where a variety of research, teaching and Extension outreach take place.

On Saturday, August 25th from 1-4 PM, join URI researchers, staff and volunteers for a behind-the-scenes look at the research projects, and the people leading them!  This is a FREE event and open to all.
