Two-Ball, Best Ball

Schedule:

10:30 am: Registration

12:00 pm: Shotgun Start

12:30 – 3:30 pm: Lunch Served on Golf Course

5:30 pm: Cocktail Hour/Hot & Cold Hors D’Oeuvres

Prizes Awarded/Raffle Held

6:00 pm: Dinner

Dress Code for Dinner:

Jacket and Long Pants (No Shorts Please)

Bill of Fare:

$550 Per Team

The RIGCSA continues with its commitment for educational enhancement, sponsoring the 43rd Annual Scholarship & Research Tournament. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Alpine Country Club hosted by Golf Course Superintendent Ben Eggleton.

Much of the success of the tournament has always been the strong support of our Affiliate members; the Association is seeking tee sponsorships for this event.

Sponsorship Levels

Silver: $350

Gold: $500

Platinum: $750

Super Titanium: $1,000 or above

If you plan to join us for the golf tournament, we kindly ask that your company support the event by purchasing a tee sign sponsorship. This helps us ensure fairness for all Affiliate members while supporting the success of the tournament. If an Affiliate member participates without the required sponsorship, their company will be invoiced for the Silver Sponsorship level.

Sponsorships will include your company name on tee signs, signage and table tents at the event and recognition on the RIGCSA website and the Surf 'n' Turf newsletter.

Reservation Deadline is Monday, October 5th.

Prizes awarded immediately after golf.

*Please note there is no dinner planned for this year's event.

Cost: $125 for day; $75 for Retirees and Student Members

Dress: Proper Golf Attire

Format: Two-man scramble

**Any player not providing a GHIN number or current GHIN card will play at a handicap assigned by the golf committee not to exceed 18.

Limited Field of 110 players

Deadline to Register is 12 noon on Monday, October 19th

This is a rain or shine event.
There will be no refunds after the deadline date.

*Due to popularity and limited field, please read the Guest Policy:

Superintendents can bring 1 Assistant (member or non-member) to play in tournament. If they have more than one assistant, they can also register if they are an RIGCSA member.
All other members, please wait until after the deadline to inquire about bringing a guest. We will try to accommodate if there are any openings.
