Golf Course Superintendent - Kings Crossing GC and Bristol Golf Park

CLUB9 Golf Operations Management seeks experienced individual for the position of Golf Course Superintendent serving 2 of our 9-hole properties, Kings Crossing Golf Club in North Kingstown, RI and Bristol Golf Park in Bristol, RI. The Golf Course Superintendent will work with ownership directing and actively working on each golf course, including but not limited to maintenance and management of tees, greens, fairways, roughs, trees, bunkers and cart paths, as well as the maintenance building and clubhouse landscaping and parking areas.  

The Golf Course Superintendent will be responsible for managing existing maintenance staff, hiring new staff and managing all staff task execution. The Golf Course Superintendent will be responsible for fertilizer and pesticide programming, applications and the operation and calibration of pesticide application equipment. Responsibilities include operation, programming and maintenance of irrigation pumps and irrigation systems, maintenance and repair of all mechanical/turf equipment and assistance with equipment procurement. Preparation of concise operating budgets, reports and maintain effective employee and guest relations.  

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with CLUB9 Ownership and Management to grow the game of golf and to set up a new maintenance program from inception to meet the conditioning/presentation objectives at Kings Crossing Golf Club and Bristol Golf Park.

Candidates should have: Turfgrass Management Certificate and/or Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred; 2-4 years Golf Course experience in managerial role; possession of valid driver’s license; possession of current State 3B certification or licensed as pesticide applicator; proficiency in computer use and knowledge of Microsoft and other applications; knowledge of rules of the game of Golf, playing ability a plus. CLUB9 Golf Operations is seeking an energetic, self-starter with a high level of communication skills and commitment to quality conditions/pride in presentation and the future of the game.

Compensation:  $70,000-80,000 health/401K benefits upon vesting, education reimbursement, golf privileges at all CLUB9 properties. (Kings Crossing Golf Club, Bristol Golf Park, Orchards Golf Course, Met Links)
