Joint Meeting with GCSACC and GCSANE

Host Superintendent: Brian Cromack

This year's Bear Cup will be hosted by the GCSA of New England. We will be joined by the GCSA of Cape Cod and the Rhode Island GCSA for the 17th year of friendly competition. This tournament was organized in memory of Gary Luccini "The Bear" who passed away in 2001. Gary was the longtime superintendent at the Franklin Country Club. His two sons, Mike and Brian, followed in their father's footsteps. Mike is the superintendent at Franklin. Brian was a superintendent before joining the Tom Irwin Company as a client representative.

This event will open the season for golf events. The turf team at Quidnessett is headed by Brian Cromack. Brian worked with Gary at Franklin Country Club as assistant superintendent before coming to Quidnessett.

SCHEDULE

• Registration and buffet lunch 10:30 AM
• Shotgun Start at Noon
• Prizes and buffet dinner after golf

Format will be 2-person teams, best score gross and net.

Please register with your partner and handicap. Single players will be accommodated.

Cost: $135.00
Retired members: $70.00
